Payment in full is required to register for classes and workshops. Some exceptions can be made if we have had previous experience with students. Call us to place a deposit, and full payment is due before one can take a class. If checks are returned by the bank due to insufficient funds, CCMA will charge a $35 service fee.

Unexpected Cancellations

If it is necessary to cancel a meeting of any class or workshop due to inclement weather, instructor illness, or other emergency, CCMA will notify students as soon as possible.  If we are unable to reschedule the missed day, we will issue a pro-rated tuition refund.

CCMA reserves the right to make changes in classes, workshops, schedules, instructors, and cancel a class or workshop due to insufficient enrollment. If CCMA cancels a course, students can choose a full refund by check, credit card, or transfer to another course. If a class has insufficient enrollment, students will be contacted one week prior to the start date.  We may choose to wait 3 more days to cancel and follow up with registrants on an individual basis, based on their needs. CCMA tries to avoid cancellations whenever possible and is proactive in notifying students to discuss options.

Masters Workshops

CCMA makes a substantial investment when planning a Master workshop and vacancies can be hard to fill, even if there is a waiting list, so we must charge cancellation fees to offset the cost of these vacancies.

For Students who withdraw 4 weeks or more before the start of a Summer with the Masters workshop, their options are:

Transfer to another course: A 5% administrative fee will be deducted if a student chooses to transfer into another weekly class or workshop. Payments already made will be applied towards the new class or workshop. The remaining balance, if any, will be refunded.

Receive a refund: A 10% administrative fee will be deducted from the refund if a student chooses to be reimbursed by check or credit card. Refunds will be issued within 30 days from the cancellation date.

For Students who withdraw less than 4 weeks before the start of a weekly class or workshop, it is NOT possible to refund any tuition or material fees because they have already been invested in the course.

Please Note: Tuition cannot be refunded once classes begin. CCMA does not issue refunds for classes or workshops missed by the student.

Materials Kit Policy

CCMA provides materials kits in classes for our student's convenience. We must estimate costs many months in advance from when we actually order supplies for your class. Due to the volatility of the metals market, all materials kit prices are subject to change. The actual cost of your materials kit will be based on the cost of metal/supplies at the time materials are ordered.

For classes where the materials kit fee is collected in advance:

If the cost of a kit has risen, students will be notified in advance and are required to pay for the difference in cost when they arrive at class.

If the cost of a kit has gone down, CCMA will reimburse the difference to students at class.

For classes where the materials kit fee is collected at class:

If there is a significant change in cost, CCMA will notify students in advance. Students are expected to pay the actual materials kit fee when they arrive for the workshop.

CCMA reserves the right to make changes in classes, workshops, schedules, instructors, and cancel a class or workshop due to insufficient enrollment. If a "Summer with the Master's" workshop needs to be cancelled due to insufficient enrollment, students will be notified one month in advance, although we will try to wait until two weeks prior before making a cancellation when possible.
